EUNGYO

LEE Jeok-yo is a celebrated poet who has a father-son-like relationship with his protege SEO Ji-woo who is untalented but very devoted to him. Overshadowed by his mentor’s genius, SEO Ji-woo deeply respects him yet tries his best to surpass him. LEE Jeok-yo feels sorry but also ashamed of his untalented protege. But the love-hate relationship takes a turn for the worse when EunGyo walks in on the scene.
LEE Jeok-yo finds Eun-Gyo sweet and charming, and starts falling for her. SEO Ji-woo starts to obsess over Eun-Gyo when her presence begins to tear apart his relationship with LEE Jeok-yo. Eventually, SEO Ji-woo steals his mentor’s unpublished short story entitled ‘Eungyo’ and publishes it under his own name. When LEE Jeok-yo finds out, their relationship turns deadly and fatal.
