BORN TO SING

Putting aside his dream of becoming a singer, Bong-nam helps Mi-ae who is his wife at her hair salon and makes petty cash chauffeuring by night. He has to work to make a living, but still dreams of becoming a singer. One day, Bong-nam hears a national singing contest will be hosted. He auditions behind his wife’s back and passes with flying colors. When Mi-ae later finds out, she begs him to give up his hopeless dream and take the test to become a certified hairstylist. On the day of the singing competitions and the hairstylist examination, Bong-nam goes after his dream. Mi-ae finds out he had given up on the examination, gets devastated, and heads to the singing competitions. However, Mi-ae sees him singing his heart out and dedicating a sincere love song to her and gets deeply moved.
