LOTTE CULTUREWORKS
Lotte CultureWorks began in 1999 as the Cinema Business Division of Lotte Shopping Co., Ltd., and over the past 20 years, it has become a comprehensive entertainment company including cinemas, film investment & distribution, performances and dramas.
Lotte Cinema is a cultural stage to experience new and diverse content and a cultural complex where people can enjoy the latest trends. By renovating the Lotte Cinema World Tower Super Plex, it has transformed into a space that immerses viewers in the essence of cinema and has become a model for premium large-format cinema in Korea. Additionally, we are actively expanding overseas by opening multiplexes in Vietnam, leveraging our years of expertise.
Charlotte Theater, the first-ever venue dedicated to musical performances in Korea, opened in 2006 and has attracted audiences amid an ever-evolving content industry by showcasing leading musical works and global mega-hit musicals, beginning with the debut of The Lion King.
Lotte Entertainment delivers delightful experiences across a range of filmmaking, from commercial to independent, and continues to grow by developing diverse current content for shows, dramas, and short-form content. We also nurture the content industry by supporting creators with the largest competition and by exporting original Korean content to overseas markets.
