The trailer hit over a million views on the day of release and solidified itself as one of the most anticipated films of 2017. The film depicts 3 afterlife guardians who guide a soul through 7 trials over 49 days in the afterlife. The film features the star-studded cast, headed by HA Jung-woo (Tunnel, The handmaiden) as the leader of the afterlife guardians, CHA Tae-hyun (My Sassy Girl) as a soul who must go through 7 trials, and LEE Jung-jae (Operation Chromite) as the king of the afterlife. ALONG WITH THE GODS: THE TWO WORLDS will be released on December 20, 2017, while its Part 2 (THE LAST 49 DAYS) is already in post-production stage for theatrical release in 2018.
